He is a consumate professional with many years of experience in the field of orthopaedics. He  graduated of the University of beninNIgeria, from where he proceeded to the National orthopaedic hospital Lagosfor his post graduate residency training in orthopaedics and traumatology.

He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). Associate fellow National post graduate medical college of Nigeria .

He has received extensive training internationally in  many countries including South Korea, India, South Africa, Egypt.

He has a fellowship  in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty from the prestigious Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics, Pune , India

Dr. Salami believes in individualized care, his treatment philosophy is to enlist you as a partner in providing care customized to meet your needs. He has expertise in both non-surgical procedures as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques including arthroscopic surgeries.  Either way the goal is always to find the least invasive procedure to help someone resolve their joint pain and return to his or her daily activities.

He is passionate about orthopaedic sports medicine and has treated a lot of professional athletes including National team players.

He is pioneer of Laser spine and endoscopy in Nigeria.

 

Dr Opeyemi Olusunmade

PRIMARY AND REVISION JOINT REPLACEMENT,  ORTHOPAEDIC ONCOLOGY AND COMPLEX TRAUMA
 
Dr Olusunmade Opeyemi graduated from the prestigious University College Hospital, University  of Ibadan in 2002.  He commenced his residency program in orthopaedics at the National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi, Lagos and qualified as a orthopaedic surgeon in 2012.

He had a fellowship training in Trauma and arthroplasty at the Soundarapandian Bone and Joint hospital,  Chennai, India. He also finished another fellowship in arthroscopy and arthroplasty in Paris, France in 2015. He has worked in a number of hospitals ( both private and public)  as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with sub- specialization in Joint Replacement,  Trauma, and pelvic and acetabular fractures.

He is a member of European Society of Sport Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy. He is also a member of AO Trauma.

He is currently Consultant Orthopaedic and arthroplasty surgeon at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Lagos.

He is married to his darling wife, Moji, and they are blessed with kids.

Dr. Jimi Osinaike

Jimi Osinaike, is a medical doctor with a keen passion for Sport and Exercise Medicine. Jimi is passionate about helping athletes maximise sporting performance. . His work entails treating individuals with musculoskeletal injuries and medical illnesses related to sport and physical activity. His first degree was from Olabisi Onabanjo University and holds a masters degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. He is also level 3 certified by England Rugby in the Pre-Hospital Management in Sport and has attended sport medicine clinical observerships both in South Africa and England. He has got both international and local experience working both with elite and recreational athletes. His previous positions includes; emergency care physician during the Lagos State Access Bank Marathon, pre-competition medical assessment assessor for the Nationwide league and pitch side doctor at the Channels Kids Cup in 2017.

Recently, he worked as the team physician of the U15 National football team (Future Eagles) and the Nigeria Gymnastic team. Asides from working with athletes, he is also a strong advocate of exercise medicine in the management and prevention of Non-Communicable disease. He has worked with a community referral physical activity group in the UK and he is well vast in motivational interviewing and exercise prescription

Finally, he is passionate about helping teenage and youth athletes achieve their sporting goals. He believes strongly that a good physical and mental well-being is important in achieving sporting success.

Dr Emeka B. Izuagba

PAEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDIC SPECIALIST, COMPLEX LIMB RECONSTRUCTION EXPERT
 
Dr Emeka Izuagba is a Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialization in Paediatric Orthopaedics and complex Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery. He is also well experienced in General Orthopaedics, Trauma and Soft tissue surgery.
He had his undergraduate training at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan where he received his MBBS Degree in 2000.
 
He completed his residency training in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos (NOHIL) and was awarded the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons. He has had various post fellowship trainings in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery in Milan, Italy; India and the USA. He was awarded a traveling fellowship by the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society (LLRS) to gain experience in 7 major Paediatric Orthopaedic hospitals in the USA in 2017. He was also awarded a Paediatric Orthopaedic Global Outreach (POGO) Scholarship by the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) in 2019. He is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Paediatric Orthopaedics (IJPO).
 
He presently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Paediatric Orthopaedic and Limb Reconstruction Unit of NOHIL.
 
He is the current Assistant Secretary of the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society of Nigeria(LLRSN) and member of the Nigerian Orthopaedic Association(NOA). He is also an international member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT).
 
He is a member of the SIGN fracture care International.
